New Look 1991
Son, Have I Got A little Story For You...
Hello!
As you may have guessed from the picture, the 1991 has got a new look; this is due to encountering a major spanner in the works in terms of the 1991 production.
Without warning, the particular shade of pink that is used for the enclosure of the 1991 was discontinued due to my supplier running out and being unable to source any more of it, which sadly remains the case with no sign of a restock any time soon.
I will continue to try and source enclosures in the intended shade of pink for the future, but I have taken the decision to use this situation as an opportunity to produce the 1991 in limited edition colourways. The first of which being the rather fetching sparkly gold outfit you can see above. I can assure you it is a cosmetic difference only. The circuit is still exactly the same in every way and completely uncompromised.
Those with orders already in for the 1991 have been notified of the change in advance of this going out. For those of you who have been waiting for the chance to buy a 1991; thank you for your patience, the wait is over and you can purchase a gold-sparkle 1991 now with a current lead time of 3-4 weeks.
A sensational cube.
Very warm sound. In the style of Parl Jam but not only. This will be my favorite overdrive. I ordered 1991 to Poland and had to pay for customs and shipping so the price was about 180 pounds but I am still happy.
As soon as the pink comes back I will immediately hand over my money!
I’ve been a fan of the Seattle scene since the early 90s and absolutely love the Ten tone.
This pedal nails it, but it’s so much more.
I got this as a bit of a nostalgia kick and it certainly gave the sound and feel- which is far more important to me- but it also became my go to overdrive.
I’m a bit of a hoarder and have more overdrive pedals than I’d care to count, but the 1991 stands out. It’s a phenomenal pedal!!
Thanks for the skeleton key, I use it for a lot of sounds. It’s a powerful ingredient for a spicy pedal-cocktail. And now I’m really looking forward for the 1991 :)
