I am afraid I have some bad news.

I have testicular cancer.

I am OK. Physically I feel no ill effects and were it not for having found a lump I would have no clue that there was anything wrong.

This gentlemen, is why it is super important for you to know your own body so you can tell when something isn’t right. As soon as you get a free minute, toddle off to somewhere private and cop a good feel of your knackers, just in case yeah.

I am also very lucky as I have an amazing wife and family to support me.

This obviously has some implications for the running of Funny Little Boxes for the immediate future…

For those of you who are expecting orders to be shipped out by the end of the month, I have now shipped all that I am currently able to dispatch.

I have an operation to remove the offending testicle scheduled for the 25th August and I am afraid that any orders I have not managed to ship prior to my operation are going to be waiting a while for despatch.

For those of you due to receive a pedal in September I am afraid I have to ask for your understanding and patience for a little longer in what I know has already been a long wait.

I am afraid I will also be unable to act on any warranty enquiries for a while should they crop up.

As for the restock of the 1991 on the website and the release of the new pedal; we just have to wait and see on that front.

All indicators are pointing towards a swift recovery however I would much rather under promise and over deliver.
